Outfits x3

As I have a ton of editing and such to do before I can present you lovely individuals with a REAL, cool post, I thought I would post the last three outfits that I've actually taken the time to take photos of over the past week or so.
When I went thrifting with Hailey:

Hello Kitty shirt: Rue 21
Denim shorts: JC Penny
FTSK Bracelet: Concert

FTSK concert:
Batman shirt: Hot Topic
Denim Shorts: Jc Penny
Love Key Necklace: Jonathan Cook (FTSK singer who makes them to raise money for charity.)
(Unseen) All Time Low Bracelet: Hot Topic

Running errands with my mom:

"Sorry For YOLOing" It Boys! tank top: Concert
Denim shorts: Jc Penny
FTSK necklace: FTSK concert
"Let's make mistakes" IWABO bracelet: Concert

As you can see, there aren't very many mirrors that are good for photo taking in my house, so I just continue to use the same one :p
Hope this didn't bore y'all too much!
Oh, and did I mention I met Kyle from FTSK at their concert on Wednesday? CAUSE I DID!!
He's seriously one of the nicest, funniest people I've met.
I'll have a post about that entire concert posted up soon!
Until next time,

Update

So, I really haven't been on my blogging game recently.  I've had a lot going on but I am back :)
Here's what I've been doing:
In June I went to see Nickelback, Seether, Bush, and My Darkest Days with my mom.
Before The Concert
During the Concert.
The concert was amazing (I'll post more pics later) and I had such a good time with my momma :)
It was my first large stadium concert and I was blown away by the show the bands put on! (Hint: lots and lots of fire :p)

I also went to see ISeeStars and The Word Alive with Hailey, Cameron, and his friend Billy.
It was at this ridiculous venue that none of us had ever been to and had noooo idea what would be like.
This place was way out in the sticks and the building itself was, as determined by Hailey and I, a warehouse barn thingy (very technical terms here, try not to get confused :p).  There was no air conditioning (something we've dealt with before) and the tall grass you hiked through to get there left you covered in stickers.  The sound was not good and at one point they lost power to the stage and I think half of the building as a whole. When we watched ISeeStars, they did well and one of there crew members legitimately held up there lights, one in each hand, for the entire show so that some of their effects could still be used.  We didn't stay for The Word Alive because we were all hot sweaty and exhausted.
Me and Hailey:

The outside of the venue:
It was a hectic crazy and strange night but I still had a good time with my friends.
We also went to see Magic Mike a few weeks ago.  I'm not even going to comment....

In other news, tomorrow night I am going to see Forever the Sickest Kids for the 5th time!  What makes this even more wonderful is that it is being held in one of my favorite venues that was shut down for a while but has now reopened!  I'm so happy about this, I don't even have words. :)

I hope everything is going well with everyone!
To my new followers (30 now, I can't believe it! You guys are amazing and I love you!), welcome to the madness!

My 19th Birthday

Last Sunday (May 13th) was my 19th birthday!
The night before my friend Hailey and I went to see the movie Dark Shadows.
It was such a good movie!  It had it suspenseful "scary" moments, but it was also pretty funny as well!
Afterward, we went back to Haliey's house where she gave me my birthday present which I LOVE!
A book of Edgar Allen Poe's greatest works and a t-shirt that says "that shit cray", probably because I have a tendency to call people cray cray a lot..... :p
I spent my actual birthday with my family!
My presents from my mommy and nana! (yes my shirt says "We Bring the Mother Fucking Heat".  I'm classy like that!)
My cake

My cake with my Draculaura doll (aka my new tradition)
Bout to blow out the candles
I was trying to look scary with the giant knife we used to cut the cake.....
Anywho, about a week before my birthday I got part of my present in the mail.  It was a necklace that my Nana had ordered for me.
These necklaces are made by Jonathan Cook, the lead singer of Forever The Sickest Kids (my favorite band ever) and the proceeds go to good cause.
Then, about 2 days after my birthday I got my last present:
The New Years Day fan pack!  I'm not gonna lie, I totally nerded out when I got it!  It came with a shirt, their new EP, a necklace, a signed poster, temporary tattoos, Hollywood Waste stickers, and a mask hand painted and signed by the lead singer.

I had an awesome birthday with my amazing friends and family!
I hope everyone is doing well!

Glow Away

A few weeks ago my friend Hailey and I watched this video and were inspired to make some glow stick art/ photography of our own. To do this you take a camera, turn off the flash, and slow down the shudder speed. You then take some glow sticks, go into a completely dark room and begin! Take a glow stick and make a shape (heart, star, etc) repetitively and take a pic. Here's how ours turned out!

Heart
Star
Peace Sign
We also spelt out the alphabet letter by letter, then spelt out our names! Here's mine:

Who knew you could have so much fun with glow sticks?

Concert Review: Tonight Alive, Before Their Eyes, Breathe Carolina, FTSK

Ready for another concert review? Of course you are! Lets get started.
On April 6 Hailey and I went to see Breathe Carolina and Forever the Sickest Kids.
It was unusually hot for April. This was made worse by the fact that the venue's only air conditioning was 2 ceiling fans.
Pre concert Photo.
The first band to play was Tonight Alive. I had heard of them but never really listened to them.
They were great. The music was wonderful and I became a quick fan.
We were later able to meet the lead singer. She was very sweet and stopped to talk to us for a little bit.
The next two bands to play were This Centry and Before Their Eyes. Both bands were entertaining, but I wasn't able to get good pics.
Pretty soon Breathe Carolina took the stage.
They started the show by completely blacking out the house lights, then entering the stage to flashing lights and screaming, moshing fans.
This has to be one of the best performances I've seen in quite some time. Even though everyone was hot and uncomfortable, we moshed like nobodies business.
Next up was FTSK
By this point we were exhausted but we still danced and screamed along to the lyrics.
I have seen them live many times (as you already know) and this was definitely the best so far. It was a smaller venue and more intimate.
After the show we were tired, sweaty, aching, and brusied but happily so. :)
*My prom was two days after this and I was still proudly sporting the bruises. lol*

Hope you enjoyed this little post and have a wonderfully magnificent day!

Band Review: Forever the Sickest Kids

I was going to do a concert review over this band but realized I have seen them more than a few times and should probably do an overall band review. Hope you enjoy!
*All info and album photos are property of FTSK and found on google.
Forever the Sickest Kids is an American pop/rock band from Dallas, Texas consisting of Jonathan Cook - Lead Vocals, Caleb Turman - Guitar and Backup Vocals, Austin Bello - Bass and Backup Vocals, Kyle Burns - Drums, Marc Stewart - Guitar, and
Kent Garrison - Keyboards. Their first EP Television Off, Party On was released in July of 2007, followed by their debut album, Underdog Alma Mater in 2008, The Weekend: Friday EP in 2009, and their self titled sophomore album in 2011.

Underdog Alma Mater
The Weekend : Friday EP
Sophomore Album
Having been to four of their concerts, all at different venues, I can say that they are great live. Unlike many pop/ punk/ rock bands, their songs are not all autotune and no talent. They are energenic and hilarious on stage. They are very down to earth and seem to genually care about their fans.
Here are a few photos of the band live and when I met them.
*All below photos are mine unless stated otherwise.
Jonathan Cook. Not the best quality photo but oh well....
Same show, again, not great quality, but I tried!
And now some photos where I met them. :)
Caleb Turman, Me, Mark Stewart
Me, Jonathan Cook
Although I have already seen them many times, the next time they are in my town, you can bet I'll be there!
