These past few weeks there has been one book series that I am absolutely OBSESSED with.
The Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris.
So far I have read the first three books and am currently working on the 4th.

This whole series is absolutely amazing! When I first decided to read the series, I was skeptical. I thought "Oh great, another vampire romance book series". But I had to give it a try. I was shocked. This book is, of course, a vampire romance, but that is not all that it is. Each book is incredibly suspenseful, witty, and smart. They are truly a joy to read.
I highly recommend this series to anyone.

The first book was pretty darn entertaining. It's been a while since I last read it, though. It still didn't convince me to watch 'True Blood', but heck. The books are good. :)
